The University of Stirling is a public university in Stirling, Scotland, established by Royal Charter in 1967.
It is situated within the fortified Airthrey Castle estate in Scotland's Central Belt.
It has grown to four faculties, a Management School, and a number of institutes and centres that span a wide variety of disciplines in the academic fields of arts and humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and health sciences and sport since its founding.
The Stirling University Innovation Park and the Dementia Centre are located on the university's 1.5- square kilometer campus.

We’ll guarantee you an offer of University-managed accommodation in your first year of study if you meet the eligibility criteria. All you need to do is confirm your place at Stirling and apply for accommodation within the timeframe we give you. As a first-year student, you'll normally be allocated a single study bedroom in a University residence. The University has 2,800 bed spaces, over 18 properties, and your accommodation may be located either on-campus or off-campus.

Depending on what you're studying, you may start your course at a different time from other undergraduate students. You'll see the final dates of your contract period when you book your room, but most undergraduate contracts are for a period of 36 weeks. integrated degree students study for 42 weeks, and Nursing students study for 44 weeks.
For session 2022/23, accommodation available to new Nursing, Paramedic and Forth Valley College (integrated degree) students will be John Forty's Court (both standard and ensuite options).
